Kolkata is famous for Howrah Bridge

 Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal, is famous for its rich culture, historical landmarks, delicious food, and bustling streets. One of the most iconic landmarks of Kolkata is the Howrah Bridge, a symbol of the city's identity. The Howrah Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans over the Hooghly River and connects the city of Kolkata with the nearby Howrah district. It is one of the busiest bridges in the world, carrying over 100,000 vehicles and more than 150,000 pedestrians every day. The  Howrah Bridge was completed in 1943 and was originally called the new Howrah Bridge. It was renamed Rabindra Setu in 1965, in honor of the famous Bengali poet and Nobel laureate, Rabindranath Tagore.
